Rajitha Dissanayake graduated from University of Arkansas and Southeast Missouri State University with Masters in Operations Management and Bachelors in Electrical Engineering respectively. He started his automation journey in 2014 as a controls engineer for an OEM which enabled him to be involved in the all stages of machine design. Rajitha’s current role as a Sysmac Application Engineer at Omron, he supports Omron’s partners and customers in the Americas to implement industry solutions based on the Sysmac Studio platform as well as to guide them to adopt industry 4.0 solutions.
Thomas Kuckhoff – as a Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the state of South Carolina and graduate from Clemson University with both a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration, Thomas has pioneered the design and performance of innovative products across business portfolios in the industrial automation industry. Thomas is the authoring inventor of thirteen US patents, holds a green belt in Lean Six Sigma, and has been recognized as Clemson’s Roaring 10 Young Alumni. Thomas Kuckhoff’s current role at Omron Automation is to lead the automation and controller business as product manager for the Americas. Through his leadership career, Thomas has expanded companies IIoT impact by introducing a number of innovative products to the market which have allowed many to grow in ever competitive industries.
