Bosch-Rexroth ctrlX Training

Description: This class covers a range of introductory topics to ctrlX, including EtherCAT networking setup, PLC App Programming Basics, Node Red Basics, and HMI options. It also covers ctrlX configuration topics such as the Datalayer, Backup and Restore, Network Settings, and Installing Apps. Other topics may be added upon request.

TÜV Rheinland and Omron Technical Safety Certification
Date/Time: Inquire if interested
Length: 2 ½ day
Description: This course will provide the learner, through classroom and lab exercises, with a skill level sufficient to correctly maintain machine safeguarding devices and safety controls to meet the safety standard requirements. Upon successful completion of the class and receiving a passing grade on the exam, students will receive a Functional Safety Technician (TÜV Rheinland) certificate and be registered as a FS Technician (TÜV Rheinland). More About The Certification:
Grow your team’s confidence with much-needed skills, with TUV Rheinland certification, you can give your team the confidence they need to work with safety products and their corresponding applications. Participants will learn how to maintain machine safeguarding devices and safety-related controls to meet standard requirements.
Coursework will cover the following topics:
•General safety concepts
•Advantages and disadvantages of various safety components
•Validation of operation for common safety components
•Safe distance calculation
•Maintenance and repair of safety systems
•“Safe” modification of existing systems for temporary situations
Training will encompass 2.5 days with an exam at the end. Successful students will receive TUV Rheinland Certification as a FS Technician and will be listed on the TUV Rheinland Certipedia.
2-DAY MOTOMAN ROBOT BASICS

Description: Learn how to program Motoman robots with confidence in this 2-day class. This is a hands-on course with a mix of classroom lectures, demonstrations, and interactive labs. At the end of this class, the student should be able to create, modify, and execute their own robot programs.

ADVANCED MOTOMAN ROBOT PROGRAMMING

INTRO TO ROBOTICS: INDUSTRIAL VS. COLLABORATIVE ROBOTS

OMRON INDUSTRIAL ROBOT BASICS

Description: Learn how to program Omron Industrial robots and incorporate machine vision for pick and place applications. This is a hands-on course with a mix of classroom lectures, demonstrations, and interactive labs. OMRON MACHINE VISION & BARCODING

Description: This course will cover the basics of machine vision (choosing the right camera, lens, and lighting and applying tools to an image) and barcode reading (choosing the right reader, adjusting common settings, and working with 1D and 2D barcodes). The course will use Omron V430 and F430 products and corresponding software to educate attendees on the different technologies and processes.

OMRON SYSMAC Automation Controller (PLC), Motion, & HMI PROGRAMMING

Description: This class covers a range of topics from the very basics of PLC programming all the way up to motion control using Omron’s Sysmac Studio software and newest-generation hardware. Attendees will learn how to navigate, configure and troubleshoot within Sysmac Studio to program PLCs, HMIs, and servo motors while working to create applications from basic to complex.

YASKAWA SIGMA-7/X SERVO TUNING

Description: This class covers the three types of tuning offered by Yaskawa’s Sigma-7 series SERVOPACK lineup: tuningless mode, auto-tuning, and custom tuning. Attendees will learn when each tuning type is most useful and how to perform each method. Attendees will use real hardware to test their skills, see results in real-time, and learn about the tuning process in a hands-on environment.
