OMRON INDUSTRIAL ROBOT BASICS

Description: Learn how to program Omron Industrial robots and incorporate machine vision for pick and place applications. This is a hands-on course with a mix of classroom lectures, demonstrations, and interactive labs. OMRON MACHINE VISION & BARCODING
Length: ½ day to 1 day
Description: This course will cover the basics of machine vision (choosing the right camera, lens, and lighting and applying tools to an image) and barcode reading (choosing the right reader, adjusting common settings, and working with 1D and 2D barcodes). The course will use Omron V430 and F430 products and corresponding software to educate attendees on the different technologies and processes.

OMRON SYSMAC & PLC PROGRAMMING
Length: 1 ½ days to 2 days
Description: This class covers a range of topics from the very basics of PLC programming all the way up to motion control using Omron’s Sysmac Studio software and newest-generation hardware. Attendees will learn how to work and problem-solve within Sysmac Studio to program PLCs, HMIs, and servo motors while working to create applications from the basic to the complex.

YASKAWA SIGMA-7 MOTIONWORKS IEC PROGRAMMING

YASKAWA SIGMA-7 SERVO TUNING
Length: ½ day
Description: This class covers the three types of tuning offered by Yaskawa’s Sigma-7 series ServoPACK lineup: tuningless mode, auto-tuning, and custom tuning. Attendees will learn when each tuning type is most useful and how to perform each method. Attendees will use real hardware to test their skills, see results in real-time, and learn about the tuning process in a hands-on environment.
