Viewing Transparent Parts with the Asyril Eye+

“Hey, we have these transparent parts that need to be seen and fed through. Our current vision system is having difficulties picking it up. Can you help?”

“So I acquired a polarizing film and a polarized lens filter and was able to get really good contrast with the backlight on our Asycube240. You can see the difference in these images below.”

“Our setup comprised of the Eye+ with an added polarizing lens filter, then we applied a layer of polarizing film on top of it and properly positioned it.”

“The only limitations that are that heavy parts might damage the film, and we can’t use structured plates since the polarized film would cover up any structure.”
